Hi there.
I'm Isa. I'm originally from Switzerland and I now live in Sydney with my partner Ben and my two boys.
I‘m passionate about travel and I couldn’t tell whether my love of travel came before my love for photography but both are inextricably linked.
When I don't take photos, I translate texts and teach French. Which is really awesome as words are another thing I'm passionate about. I love a good novel, a meaningful story, raw characters, authentic dialogues. I love books about gender, identity, race, travel and family stories of course.
If I love taking photos I also love looking at photos. The little details, all the things that images can tell, all the feelings you get by looking at them. Photos can bring you back to a moment, a person, a smell, a place. I only recently realised I only had one photo of my dad and my son together. At the time, I probably thought "We’ve got time, we'll take photos tomorrow" today, it’s unfortunately too late to change that. So here is to making memories, creating connections, stopping and taking a deep breath, remembering the ones you love and embracing the best times of your life so you'll remember them for the rest of your days.
Life is short, days go too quickly even when they go by slowly. Let me capture the little moments that make your life so unique.
I cannot wait to meet you, Isa xx
